Do you offer certification?
There are several kinds of certificates available at Austin Community College:
|ACC Completion Certificate
Students who complete an ACC Continuing Education course receive an ACC Certificate of Completion. This certificate verifies the course taken as well as the CEU’s earned.
|Certified CAD Drafter Courses
Students who complete the 160-hour, 2-course Certified CAD Drafter program receive an ACC Certificate. All work is done in AutoCAD and consists architectural, mechanical, civil, electrical, and 3D modeling projects. Students assemble a portfolio of drawings suitable for presentation in an interview.
|College Credit Associates Degree or Certificate
Austin Community College offers both a certificate and degree program for students interested in earning college credit. These are semester-length classes that result in an Associate of Applied Science degree or Certificate from the Architectural and Engineering Computer Aided Design (A&E CAD) department. Because the courses offered by A&E CAD are state regulated, the degree is transferable to many 4-year colleges.
